Can winter cold effect a chameleons colour my male panther started to go much lighter sins it started to get colder

I noticed that my chameleons colour go much darker during winter time. It's been damn cold in the Vaal Triangle the last couple of days hey

It has been cold I keep them out side as much as possible when its not that cold. I wonder how I can get his bright colours back

Mine's also outside as much as possible. All i can think of is maybe you should get a UVB light and a 100w house bulb for basking and just keep him indoors for the winter and only take him out on the really nice days. Thats what i would do. It should get his colours back.

Yeah that's what I do I keep him in side when its very cold out side.
