Worms

I and my girlfriend have been feeding our chameleon crickets since it was a baby, I have been wanting to feed it the different kind of worms but the one time we tried he hissed and got big when we put them into the cage, later on i checked the cup where the worms were and none were eaten. Is he just use to the crickets? I hope hes not picky now lol. Please help

i have heard that when the chams do that do just pop one right into there mouth and after that they will love them. mine personally did not have this problem so im not sure if this will work but if i had to guess it will work.

Crickets move which triggers feeding. Worms in a cup don't move, so… hang the worm on the screen so it climbs up within reach of the cham.

put only one or two worms in a decent sized bowl. Make sure the worms are lively, moving a lot. and make sure they are a proper size.
okay to have a couple crickets in the bowl with them.

You definitely do not want to have your chameleon only eating crickets. Best to provide variety from the first week of life.
