My little cham is carrying eggs, I can see it in her shape. I'm worried that she won't lay them, I have a bin set up inside her cage. It is 12 and a half inches deep, with topsoil and a bit of wet playsand mixer in. She's gone into it before, but just seems to make her way back to the top of her cage. Do you think she'll eventually lay her eggs?

Please be calm n think positive,a gravid cham is very shy n scare,I will suggest put a towel over that cage sort like a covering up a bird cage but in the day time,so it will help her with more privacy,you can also try a bigger size bin ,leave her in there over night but please be sure the timing is right,if she is ready she will start digging her way in

Okay thank you, she just goes in sometimes and I'll leave her alone but when I peek she's back up at the top. I will definitely try putting a towel over her cage and the bin takes up about half of her cage I just hope all turns out well.

She's 7 months right now. It won't let me post the photos I have, and no. She's carrying an infertile clutch.

Hopefully she's just not ready to lay the eggs yet.
If she shows any signs of going down hill pleaded get her to a vet ASAP.
I hope you can figure out how to post a pboto so we can see how she is.

What supplements do you use specifically and how often for each?
What do you gutload/feed the insects with?

I am in the same boat my cham is gravid has been for a few weeks her appetite has diminished to nothing she is constantly restless climbing from top to bottom of her cage she has a laying bin with a premade hole but she never seems to bother with the laying bin which is a mix of organic potting soil and play sand her cage has been covered for last two weeks but I still see no change. How long is this supposed to take? this is her first time.

I use carrots and cricket gutloading feed for them. And I dust the crickets twice a day without D3 and then every month I do the multivitamin and with D3 twice.
