Yay! Our first hatchling!

OMG! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! This neonate is soooooo small I didn't realize how small they really are! So far it's just one but I can't wait till more start coming out to play! YAY! I'll try and get a picture of this little cutie!

I have a possibility of i think 12 more, i dont want to bother the little guy so i dont want to turn the lights on and check. They are pure BB Ambilobes so I am super excited! I am anticipating solid blue bars with LOTS of yellows!

How long did they incubate? I have 10 eggs layed dec 20, 2009, and another 40 from Jan and march so I probably have a few months left to wait. Congradulations on your hatchlings!

Excellent!! There is nothing like the first clutch of babies no matter what they are. Sounds like you have some nice ones working.

Nothing like your first clutch of babies. Be prepared to get nothing else done....you can spend a lot of time watching them! What are you housing it in?

They were layed 7/23/09 and hatched 4/28/10 so it was little over 9 months. I am housing them in a 6Qt tub i have it tilted a bit for the water run off and i got both the lights uva and uvb set up along with some nice soft fake leaves! I will take pictures when my friend comes over cuz he has an awesome camera, i tried taking pictures with my pos camera and it wouldn't get the tiny guy/girl
