Sorry to resurrect a ridiculously old thread, but this has just set my frantic mind at rest (you've gotta love this forum!!)

My 5 month old Panther yawned this afternoon and I was shocked to see that the inside of his mouth was yellow - I was panicking thinking that he had mouth rot or something! My Veiled's mouth is pink!

Anyway, I googled mouth rot but didn't really find any answers, googled again what colour should my Chameleon's mouth be and yet again, up popped this amazing forum with this thread, that has now completely put my mind at rest (again!)

Thanks so much! I was about to place an urgent call with my vet!

What really amazed me was when I heard that some vets thought it meant they had jaundice!
