IMG_2485.JPG IMG_2484.JPG IMG_2486.JPG Hi I put my male and female Yemens together 3 weeks ago and they had a serious amount of jiggy jiggy time. So I'm hoping she's pregnant, it's been 3 weeks and I have her in a bio active viv with soul/ play sand substrate And a seperate laying box full of just washed plays and hidden at the back of her Viv
Just wondering does she look gravid?
Back ground temp 70f bottom 80f middle and a basking spot of 95f. She's in a 4x2x2 viv humidity around 35-40%

Any advice greatly rwceived

A chameleon will lay eggs wheter she has mated or not.
So if she was ready to receive the male that means she was receptive at the time otherwise she would have made known she would not have any...
That would also mean she will be gravid and if not now then soon, but from the looks of it I'd say she's with eggs.

In any case you should prepare a layingbin.

IMG_2488.JPG Little update for some reason she just came out

Can see the blue spots

And there's pronounced lumps around her rear end

Thank you remkon

I have a foot square plastic tub full of damp playsand in the back behind the plants I also have a dark towel draped over the front of her Viv for privacy

She is certainly gravid. Give her some bonus phoenix worms or something for a while and she should lay some nice healthy eggs, she looks great :)

Thanks for that She just seems to have gone off food the past day or so which from what I read is quite normal Still offer her food daily and hav

Show her to the male by holding her outside his cage. If she darkens her background color to almost black and hisses and rocks back and forth and gapes she's producing eggs.

Did that the other day and she went full prehistoric on his arse. Never seen her so angry at him. Think being a new Cham daddy I'm just panicking a lot cos don't want anything to happen to her

Ya. Blue means gravid in these girls. I can't believe the veil on her! It looks as big as my Echo's!
