You go to work and see the plants in the lobby and think, those would make for an awesome free range!
You are at a craft store looking for wedding items, and you see some fake vines and large trees, which would also make an awesome free range!

Your turn! :rolleyes::cool:

Anytime I drive by a house that has plants outside I wonder if those are for chameleons or not. When I drive by wooded areas around town I am looking for awesome looking branches or vines in the trees :D

When I go to malls (not very often!) that have live tree plantings I try to ask what species they use. When they ask why I do get funny looks.

When I go to buy a tree or plant for my cham's enclosure and use my finger to test the strength of the branches as well as carefully look to see how close together the branches are for ease of climbing :D

When I'm at work and i spend my breaks and lunches working on new enclosures (I will literally go days when I don't eat at work just so I can make sure my chams have either a new vine set up or their auto misters are up to par)

When you constantly have dreams about them getting hurt or their tongues getting stuck to walls and breaking off! LOL I have so many dreams about my boys getting hurt.

Or when you hear your friends are cutting down two big trees and the first thing you think is that you can build some kick ass outdoor cages from that wood.

everyone at my office thinks I have gone insane - I leap up from my desk, and go charging the large show window with a red solo cup yelling " DON'T KILL IT ! DON'T KILL IT !! ( not my fault they did not see the juicy fly before me :p )

It kills me to turn off my lights at night. To the point ill skip a night ( I know not healthy ) but I can't stop starring

Haha.

The dream part is awesome.. had that dream when my babies started hatching, or when i got a new cham.

Oh, I have had my new chameleon for only a few weeks but I have done most of this stuff already. I guess I get addicted quickly! He is probably one of the most entertainig little things I have kept in a cage though.

You start eyeing that empty corner in the bathroom and wonder if it's at least 18x18x36.

I find myself saving every large plastic container so that I might be able to turn it into a dripper! My husband was going to throw away the supersize plastic coffeemate container, and I am like NO!!!! We can put a spicket on it and turn it into a dripper. :D Let's face it...We are all cham crazy!!!!

LMAO!!!!!!!!

-Everytime I walk thru the house I stop at every cage and check on them!(Sleeping or not)

-I keep logging on here!

When you keep 5 types of roaches, 3 sizes of crickets, 2 types of fruit flies, 8 colonies of bean Beatles, horn worms, meal worms, and superworms....and consider it normal.

Love this thread btw! Good for a smile :D
