So, I've heard members on here say that young chameleons can shed quickly and "explode" out of their old skin. Well, I its true haha. I came home on my lunch break to feed my veiled chameleon like usual. Nothing out of the ordinary as he was just being his normal chameleon self. Not a single sign of an incoming shed that I could see.
Then I get a picture from my girlfriend maybe two hours after I last saw him. She went to mist him before she left the house and noticed his skin shedding big time. It looks like he took one big breath and his old skin just popped off him. It's crazy how fast this process goes sometimes.
This is the second time he is shedding since I got him on New Years day. How often can a young chameleon shed?
