Zenia rest in peace

I just came home from my birthday party to find my first female sternfeldi Zenia laying among the pothos dead. She had had an RI that was treated with baytril and never bounced back. I'm so upset because I called the vet this morning when I found that she had fallen but couldn't fit her in untill Monday. I am absoloutely devastated as she was being raised with a male who also had a ri and is thriving and they were on the same diet and supplements. I am just in tears right now as I loved her so much! Zenia, RIP July 12/14

That's terrible!I'm so sorry Cait! :( Every time I step in the room I take a deep breath, because I never know what's waiting for me there. So every day I spend with my cham is kind of a big release! (I hope you know what I mean?!) You can never know with chams, that's for sure... :(
Take my condolenses! :(

I totally understand what you mean, thanks for the condolences.

Oh my god Cait!! I'm so sorry!! We were just talking about her earlier today!!

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I know how much you cared for her. Rest in peace little Zenia

I feel so bad for my male Mal, he's been searching the enclosure all day looking for her! It's heartbreaking! I took him outside to try and get his mind off her, but as soon as I put him back the searching started again!

Thanks again to Everyone for the condolences. She is now resting in my garden among the flowers, where I used to let her climb around on the ferns and flowers. She would be happy there.
