ZooMed XL Reptibreeze

I have an XL reptibreeze, and I'm concerned that it doesn't feel sturdy. I'm thinking it may not be able to hold a hanging basket without breaking!

Has anyone done it without problems?

I was planning to use fishing line to hold it up.

Be careful!

Don't know about the Repti-breeze, but I've read on the forums that fishing line is dangerous because a cham may shoot their tongues in the lines direction, not seeing it, and cut their tongue.

Use a 2x4 or similar board across the top of the frame. Screw a hanger/hook in the wood, and hang the hanging basket from there. We use a 1x1 piece of "railing" from Home Depot, and it works great.

I have two of those and both have hanging pothos... The way I did it was buy a 1"x3' steel flat bar and put it across the top, the took zip ties and wrapped it around the bar and through the mesh... Taking all the wight off the mesh... And I have fishing line tying every vine to my mesh and as long as you do it tight enough there shouldn't be any problem... Where did you see these horror stories?

I would have never have thought to hang my pothos, that seems pretty darn clever :) But way too much work. I already had one cham bite his tongue off and I've no idea how, they have their ways of getting into trouble.
