Zorak the Ambilobe

So here's some basic info about my enclosures design.
Basically, I spent alot of time looking at pictures of panthers in both wild and captive environments. I took this and things others have done/recomended and applied them best I could to my enclosure. This was combined with knowledge from various readings and how toos,a bug help was bill strands blog and the topic of what one should be aiming to achieve in a cham enclosure beyond just what it looks like. Like varying humidity pockets, the ability of full, partial and complete cover from heat lights and/or uv or the ability to use one and/or the other pending his needs.
Cleaning needed to be easy, the misting system does a great job of also cleaning the canopy off. And my guy likes to poop in the same area generally so vacuuming the enclosure 2× daily works really well.
There's plenty of airy open areas for him and I made a designated drinking station in the back right side. I did this by carefully bunching a bunch of the exoterra mandarin plants together and running my dripper line into the top of them so it trickles down multiple areas and leaves not pooling in one area and looking unnatural. I hung a vine under this directly and one to the side so he has multiple options. The excess water drips into my schefflera plant. The mister is hooked in the back right corner with a screen wedge,it is hidden behind a small palm which helps break the spray up a bit and create a nice dripper effect, the rest hits all but the basking area more or less and provides a good bath for him to clear his eyes etc,I also spray for 30 mins or so on sat or Sunday when I can be around incase there's an issue.
At first I think the new setup was big and new so he was a bit cautious but now will spend the day walking all over his domain.
I've continued cup feeding and hand feeding daily,I've also been letting a few crickets free range while I'm watching him to make sure he's catching them. Usually 2 at a time so he can get the hunting instinct in,and once he's older I may just free range feed him crickets x week for the exercise and excitement he gets.

Gettin ready for bed. You know busy day for a chameleon.
I've started putting 5 crickets loose in the upper area so he can hunt, but not all of them as I think all the space they would be able to hide would mean he wouldn't get as many as we'd like. Plus, wastes food. I do plan on free range once he's full grown, and cup feed other foods still.

He's looking good.
