Latest project is trying my hand at breeding hornworms. Got a few dozen eggs so far, but something went wrong with the chow mix…it never solidified. Made only a half batch so hope for better luck with the other half.

Nothing like spending a beautiful morning inducing vomiting in your (dumb as a box of rocks) dog who ate a whole batch of chocolate chip cookies...then having to follow him around with a shovel to prevent him from eating his vomit. I was really looking forward to those cookies too.

So, guess I’ll be getting a box of 500 dead crickets sometime next week. Thanks FedEx. I understand the delay beyond your control, but why after that have they been sitting in Indianapolis since Friday?
