Finally! All the chams are bioactive again, with the unusual addition of incorporating their old lay bins in for Stella and sweet Grumpy.
Latest project is trying my hand at breeding hornworms. Got a few dozen eggs so far, but something went wrong with the chow mix…it never solidified. Made only a half batch so hope for better luck with the other half.

So far this year all I’m doing is keeping my veterinarians in business. Now it’s senior kitty again (recent vet visit found renal failure) developing skin ulcers.

Nothing like spending a beautiful morning inducing vomiting in your (dumb as a box of rocks) dog who ate a whole batch of chocolate chip cookies...then having to follow him around with a shovel to prevent him from eating his vomit. I was really looking forward to those cookies too.
