    An Odd Question...

Hey Joleen! I had a problem logging in for a while, but, it gave me time to assess the cages... My babies like the 3 foot ladder, but, they LOVE the rope ladder I turned into a bridge! I've seen them use it to sleep on all night, hang out under the UVB- and spot- lights, or just chill out...

    An Odd Question...

Wow! Hey PJK! I agree! If a chameleon can drink from a cup, why not let it?

    An Odd Question...

I had heard that chameleons don't recognize standing water, but, my chameleons drink it from their bird dish. I have 2 of the "Little Dripper" and my chameleons drink from the bird dish. Are you saying that I should remove the water bowls and put back the "Little Dripper" systems? Not...

    An Odd Question...

I took this picture before I finished hanging more vines. I got lucky that these 3 (Lady Jade, Sir Ziggy and Lord Charmander) figured out one food cup has water, one has worms and the other has mixed greens.

    An Odd Question...

I love it! Glad to know my Ziggy is a normal pre-teen. Sir Ziggy loves walking on the ceiling, and I noticed Lord Charmander does the same, even in his new 24"×24"×48" cage.

    An Odd Question...

They cant worry about myla I actually have a basking bridge, created using a large bird rope ladder. Yes, Theveiled, Sir Ziggy is hanging on to his favorite plastic plant, all of my chameleons love them. They love their umbrella trees for hiding and sleeping, and they access the smaller...

    An Odd Question...

I'm not quite sure how to broach this -- perhaps peculiar -- question, but, here goes... My male veiled chameleon, Sir Ziggy, who is approximately 6 / 7 months old, has a habit of hanging from the top of his cage in a pose more apropos for a Playgirl shoot. Is he using the light to dry off...

Help With My New Baby Veiled...

Hello Andee! Funny you should ask... it's slightly less bent. I tried to use my pinkie to push it, and it moved, but, it slowly resumed a more bent position. It didn't hurt her, or at least she had no reaction. I don't want to press my luck, but, I assume it's better now while she is so...

Veil on a veiled chameleon going to get any bigger?

I was hell bent on getting a male, and I knew what to look for, and I got a tiny female who's back feet looked like they had spurs, but were just white color. I figured out my mistake, and could have returned her to PetSmart under their 14 day guarantee, but, she had the sweetest personality...

Fat or ready to lay eggs?

My female veiled is roughly 7 / 8 months old, and is looking like Lizzy from BClizzi pictures. When you say "gravid colors", do you mean blue and orange looking spots my Lady Jade is sporting? She's been making many trips a day to the bottom of her cage, and her laying bin is ready to go...

    Losing my baby boy

Sorry for your babies condition. My female veiled chameleon has very dry eyes, this is what I do, and she understands what I'm doing, she never fights it. I take water, and add Repti-Safety drops according to directions per cup. I get a paper towel, and get it soaked. I put my hand as close...

Help With My New Baby Veiled...

Hey Andee! Thank you for your help, and your praise of my version of TLC. I feel privileged to have such beautiful chameleons -- especially ones that don't mind being held. Sir Ziggy got me last week on the nose as I went in for a smooch on the lips and he nailed me in less than half a second...
