I just have a normal thermometer. Nothing fancy. In the basking light its about 85. And sorry about the 7.o its a 75 watt bulb. And the bottom of the cage is about 75. I was also wondering if I just use the tube uv lights do I need on or two?

The zoo med 18in 5.0 is what I have.

the 18in is a 5.0 and the cage is made of aluminum mesh.

I have 2 5.0 swirl bulbs on top but they don't penetrate to the bottom of the cage. So I just got a 18 florescent UV light to put in the middle. Then for my heat lamp its a 7.0 on top of the cage. Should I get another for the middle too? My cage is 4 feet tall.

No I guess need to get her one. You think those colors means she is carrying eggs? And what dirt should I use for her to dig in?

Ok just recently my veiled chameleon who is ruffly 9 to 10 months has been showing some new colors. She seems to be showing a lot more black all the time. When normally only happens when she is really mad. She is all bright green with black spots and some goldish color in there too. Which also...

Im told dirt is a bad idea. I tried the carpet stuff but that stuff just stinks after like a week and gets all mildewy. I tried paper towels and didnt like those. So what do you guys use?

Well I redid the cage last night and I think she love s it. As soon as I put her in there she turned like neon green which so far only has done when she is sleeping. I got some more vines and got rid of the dirt and bought a devils ivy plant. She seems alot happier now.

She is about 4 to 5 months now. And I actually just changed the set up in the cage. and when she gets older gonna extend upwards. So now worrys.

Ya I removed the bamboo last night. and its 80 at the top of the cage. She has room to move around and shade to hide in. So you all think I should go with a colder heat bulb?
