    Mass Breeding?

Over breeding I read through all your post. I think it is wrong to constantly breed a female. You should allow them to have a more natural breeding schedule. The whole point of buying a animal that has these type of color changes is to provide them habitat that they can hide in and change...

    Feeding problems

feeding I had a similar issue with my babies. They did eat. Try removing objects in the cage so that they can see the food better. This might encourage their interest in them. I gave them time with them. They were scared at first but then one ate and the rest followed. I only use flies...

    Trying to breed veiled chameleons

Still trying I tried the suggestion to bring her to her cage and she hissed at him. The next time I placed her in his cage and she hissed. So I am guess that she is just not in the mood and that is the issue. She shows her robin eggs but when I put her in the cage she changes back to dark...

    Trying to breed veiled chameleons

She is showing her robin egg colors and she does not act defensively. One of our prior females was not in the mood and would gasp at him, but this one seems calm in there and walks away slowly. She seems interested he just gets aggressive.

    Trying to breed veiled chameleons

I will give it some more time and maybe see putting him in her cage. This was the second time I put her in. The first time she was in a funny position and he was just holding on to her. She does not hiss or anything at him so it is not her. He watches her and becomes all bright and does the...

    Urgent !!!! Help !!!! Egg laying !!!!

I like to make a suggestion. It is very common for a female that lays a large batch to die. I would go to your local pet store and buy some vitamin products. There is one that is designed to help give her electrolites and hydration and another one that is a high vitamin food. It might help...

    Trying to breed veiled chameleons

I am trying to breed veiled chameleons. I place my female into my males cage and he is acting agressive toward her. He head butts her hard and this last time he tried to bite her. Is this normal? I know the female will hiss and bite when she does not want to but what is the male doing? He...

    Which Roach is better???

Roaches are a better food source for your chameleon. They have a lot more food and breeding is easy. Roaches have a higher meat to shell ratio compared to other feeders. Most feeders are more shell which is hard for animals to digest and sometimes they do not. They are not getting enough...

    chameleon hatchling

I tried moving him but he would freak out and go back to the dark ball pose again. I put him by himself and he is back to normal. It might have been too much for the little guy being with 3 others. Thank you for all the help. I hope not all of them hatch this next week. All those babies at...

    chameleon hatchling

I make sure the crickets can not get out and I keep fake and some real pothos plant leaves. He seems fine. I did place him in his own cage and put the other 3 in a larger cage. He perked up and turned back green. So maybe it needed more room. Not sure. I know they are scared and they were...

    chameleon hatchling

I thought he might be scared. I mist them 3 to 4 time daily and their temp is about 80 to 85. I have it in with 3 others. Could that bother him? They are in a critter keepertogether. Not the really small one but a 1 gallon to 2 gallon one. He becomes active after I hold him for awhile become...

    Help!!!!

Remove the container that they are in and slowly remove them. You will have to dig. They are soft. Just place them in a box with vermilicite and do not move them again. You do not have to clean them. Also put them in the dark. They do not like direct light of any form and now its time to wait.

I thought that might be so That could be very possible. They do walk around. The babies all seem fine. They are also about 7 months so I would think most of them are full developed. At least I hope so.

UVB and plastic I put the little guy in a critter keeper. I have a heat lamp, damp paper towel, greenery, and a UVB lamp on him. But I do have a question about UVB and plastic. How do I set it up? According to what i've read the plastic will block the light. I thought about putting it on...
