looks fine to me. As for the color, they dont have to be the same colors as their parents it is just a good indicator of what colors they will most likely have :)
They make different sizes... I have a whole set of zipties that has like 10 different sizes and colors.... The smallest of them fit right through the screen holes. Just dont over tighten the ties and rip the screen.
My first cham had this problem and the vet said it wasn't a problem although they weren't nearly as close together... I might get a vets opinion and just get an all around check up.
Haha.. I just tranfered to toledo from bg. I left my veild and panther at the herp lab though.. I donated them there about 1/2 way into first semester last year because my mom couldn't keep them when I left
If they do it out of the blue every now and then i dont really see a problem with it but if something is causing it to happen continuously every day then that problem needs to be adressed.
the carrot really wont go bad but id replace it after a few days, for the water replace that every other day or more depending on how clean it looks. I would look up on more gutloads to feed the crickets. carrots really arent going to do a whole lot of good on their own. As for the growth rate...
my cham wont poop for days at a time. its not unusal for them to only go once or twice a week. Id also check the whole cage, my panther is known for leaving suprises in weird hard to see places
i like the small pond idea but remember small fish tanks get dirty almost over night so id find a way to make it as big as possible and to fit a good filter in it if thats the way you were gonna go
my veiled looks like that somtimes. the lady i got him from claimed it was from his toenails being riped out, some have started to come back and others havnt
sometimes when chams are mad and just want to be left along they shoot their toungs out like weapons, my panther and veiled have done this before, i wish my chams would react to a mirror, they just sit in fromt of thm and try to climb it.... -.-
my panther used to do the exact same thing!! he also did it with the scallop shells i had covering the dirt. he used to move them around too. id find them hidden all over his cage and alll tangled inside his plants!
