I run a daycare in my home and have two children of my own, all of our reptiles have been handled right from the first day, always with supervision, some of the daycare are better with the look and don't touch approach but it isn't because of the lizard more the kids!!!
Great news this morning, we woke up to two new babies, they eggs that looked good hatched!!!! So excited, the other two eggs are still very discoloured and caved in, I don't think that they will hatch, actually am starting to think that they aren't even fertilized???
don't water the eggs directly, you want to wet the hatch rite or whatever the eggs are on!!! I also was told I could take a damp paper towel and lay it over the eggs to help, but that made me nervous so I made the hatch rite wetter!!!
lol, how long has he/she been like that??? I waited about 8 hours for s Crestie to come out of his egg, and then when he finally got out I was helping him into the bigger enclosure and he bit me!!! lol
I love the PVC pipe as well, we are wanting to change things up here. Our cham's screened enclosure is on a "desk" that the beardie's tank was sitting, it works but we are thinking of getting another beardie, we really miss ours!!!!!
my gecko eggs caved in, I added more moisture to the hatch rite and they all plumped up within a couple hours, and all eggs hatched and babies were healthy!!!
not quite 5 months only just over four, I have thought he was little too!! We got him at the September 15 expo in Toronto and the guy said he was about a month old, but he was so tiny, so maybe younger???? he eats a ton, and poops lots???
