Hi everyone, i have been on here for a while and have gotten some great information and ideas. My veiled in doing great, almost 4months old and been with us for almost 3 months, eats like a champ (except refuses worms), poops lots and is getting better at being held! My question is there is an...
I try to go in a few times a day and ignore him and cage, so he gets used to my presence. I also mist and feed crickets daily. Last night he hung out with me on the couch and was quite happy roaming, trying again now, and it bright green and content!!!
I always get my crickets from a local pet store, but hear everyone talking about getting them delivered. I looked it up on the site Flucker Farms and they only ship to the states, does anyone know of Canadian shipping options??
we have a male veiled almost 4 months old and e will turn anyway to try to avoid detection!!! and as time has passed (had him since Sept) he is getting better and is enjoying time out with us. take your time she will come around
thank you so much for that link, that is a really good thing to see!!! I don't really worry too much about him as he does seem to be doing well!! Just different after having beardies and crested geckos!!! Love them all, and worried for different reason when they all were little!!
mine has sleep attached to the top of the terrarium, so I moved him, I was afraid he would fall, only to come back 5 mon later and he was in the exact same spot again!! lol
I weighed my crested geckos when we were thinking of breeding her, to make sure she was big enough but I hadn't weighed my veiled until reading on here that a lot of people do to keep an eye on health and such!!
my male veiled weighs 9 grams and is roughly 3 1/2 months old, is this normal???
he is awesome, beautiful!!
we used to take our beardie out for drives, he would sit right up on the the dash and bask in the sun, we would get the funniest looks when people would notice him!!!
we have a veiled and named him Leaf. we also had a bearded dragon (now passed away) he was Rex. And we breed crested geckos mom and dad are Roxi and Harley, babies are, Fred, Daisy, Raptor, Raven, Shadow, Billy-Bob, Ed, Tulip, Thing 9, Thing 10. We got stuck on the last two :)
