Thanks for the advice. I will take this into consideration. Right now there is a 65 watt bulb, it does not get "hot" where she likes to sit, but I will be putting a temperature probe there as soon as it arrives (prompted me to order one) just to be on the safest of sides. Thanks.
Where does your Cham deficate? I would love a setup like that, but not in love with the idea of it possible raining digested cricket on me or the carpets.
Only when it is spraying. Notice I said spraying not misting, lol. It is silent the rest of the time.
As far as the batteries go, I have never used that option. It does have that capability, just never needed it and why would you? Power outage?
I find this item works well for watering my...
I use distilled water most of the time. Even the tap water that is supplied to my home leaves a lot of water stains on things when it drys. Its about .99$ a gallon, which adds up but I know its all good.
-1 for the habbamister. It's more of a sprayer. Does almost nothing for me and humidity. Keeps my plants watered though. Lol. Don't bother with it IMHO. I have not bought an alternative yet.

On average how many crickets do you have in there at a time? Do you restock when they are all gone or do you constantly add more to keep the number up? This intrigues me.
Also I can add that for the soil, make sure that it does not have anything in it for moisture retention ie. Those little styrofoam balls. They are usually white. Organic bag soil should be free of those.
When I recently priced it out for me to build a 24"x24"x48" screen enclosure it ended up being around $20 less for me to build it myself. My thoughts were,
1. I am handy but have never made one before. One mistake and it would be back to the store and more supplies.
2. Having someone build...
Oh that looks like a great start. Like other said, make sure they cant see each other. I personally would look for a different background, I love the idea, but am not sure how they would feel about the water. Stick with patterns that represent their natural habitat. Cool idea though, I am...
I am in the process of setting up Meleondollars new 2'x2'x4' Screen enclosure. Question to the folks out there. How are people hanging items from a screen enclosure? Are you poking holes in the screen where things will be tied to? My mister and dripper are getting their own holes, but what about...
