probably a Reptifogger, the monsoon is a "rain" system.. Pretty easy to clean though, soak the water reservoir in a diluted bleach mix, and fill the base with the same, let sit and rinse. I personally don't have one but seen them.. I use a humidifier, and they are pretty much the exact same thing.
I use a mistking and its fantastic.. There are others here that use Aquazamp and seem to like them.. Stay away from the exo-terra or zoomed misters, they don't last at all..
Pressurized ones are great, look into an automated one though since spraying the enclosure 4-6 times a day by hand can get old fast, especially if you're not home.. They are pricey but well worth it
The basking bulb should be alright, wont know until you get some temperature readings.. you'll need a couple thermometers and a hygrometer, digital is better. You'll need something to mist the cage, a fogger is great for humidity but a mister will keep him better hydrated.. Stick to crickets and...
I've always free-range fed my chameleon.. well.. I hand feed him crickets, and after he eats about 6 or so I put about 5-6 in his enclosure. super/butter/wax worms I put in a dish on the bottom of his enclosure and he eats out of that. horned worms are 50/50 free range and hand fed, but when...
what kind of chameleon? You can usually move them into an adult enclosure when they are 6 months.. Mines about 8 months right now and going into a large enclosure as soo as its completed
I installed mine right through the screen with no corner wedge... Just took a pair of snips, cut a tiny "X" in the screen, wiggled the nozzle through the hole and tightened the nut.. the aluminum screen is more than enough to support a nozzle, even with a chameleon hanging from it.
It's a Crane cool mist.. In Canada you can get them at homedepot.. Some video reviews show a good amount of mist, probably be able to hose it to the enclosure..
I'm looking at making my own external fogger (keeping the unit out of the cage and running a hose from the top of the humidifier to the top of the enclosure). Has anyone tried this with one of these? does it push the mist sufficiently?
could you provide a link to the bulb you are using? And how old is it? UVB light doesn't penetrate glass so the sunlight through the window will not be providing any UV light for D3 absorption
I don't think your bulb is a UVB bulb.. just because its marked "daylight" doesn't mean its a UVB bulb.. Unless its a CFL or linear tube (non of which will be 75w) then its not likely to provide the UVB needed to process the calcium...
Probably have to. The temperature directly under the heat lamp is probably very high, if you don't want him to get burnt then its probably a good idea.. Put your hand where he is climbing, you probably can't keep it there for very long..
if you can't make something to raise the lights you'll have to get something.

would work
I have my light mounted about 6" above the top of the screen for now, mounted to the wall with a hook
