So 8x10 would be 80 a day. Ya, the worst thing is the corn cuts your hands up and you get cornrash all over your arms. Detassling is actually comin up here in june sooo that means after I get paid its time to buy a setup and either a jacksons or panther cham :)
I'm in iowa. And detassling is walking up and down the rows of corn for about 8 hours picking the tassle thing off all the corn in the 100 degree heat lol. A buncha people do it, pays like $700 or so for two weeks so its worth it
I'm a freshman in highschool and I work on dairy farms and do work around the farm I live on. I detassle corn in the summer (that sucks if you've ever done it)
I got a 12x12x14 container and some washed playsand and organic dirt. The dirt has some sticklike stuff in it, is it still okay to be put in the laying bin?
Lmfao! Well I am not into beastiality and I don't see how it could be physically possible for a human and a cham to "interact" in those ways. But it has only been recently that she has become aggressive and doing the head shaking. Up till a couple weeks ago she was soooo friendly and relaxed and...
So my 5 month female veiled has been uhm kinda "twitching/shaking her head left and right when I put my hand or put a branch by her to take her out. She does this shaking for like ten seconds then she hisses or bites. What can this mean? Could it possibly be some sort of sign of stress or fear?
Well duhh on that one, id deffinately care more about my cham then my job(even though I need the job to pay for stuff she needs). You shoulda asked your boss if he cared about his job more than his family members cuz that's how I think of my lizards :)
I just made a drip system by gettin a little plastic container and pokin a hole in it with a needle. I put maybe (just a guess) a cup or maybe less of water in it and it goes for a couple hours. It depends on how often you mist too. Other members will probly chime in and give more detailed in...
I do check the poop and it looks normal. I plan on taking my cham to the vet when the weather is good enough just to see if everything is lookin good and to check for parasites ect.
I think its like the third one down in the list if you go to resources then click live plants it will say schefflera arboricola or umbrella tree. I ran down to lowes today and picked one up, its about 2 1/2 feet tall. It was 7.50 and I also got some organic soil for 7.50. It doesn't seem to be...
So I've read a lot on thes plants and I've seen that they are toxic and that they aren't toxic. So I am at a loss for what to believe. I have a veiled, anybody wanna clear the air and tell me if it is ok to have in her cage or not?
That is my exact thoughts swordfish, they don't need a smaller environment out in the wild so why would they in captivity lol. But again, cup/handfeeding while they are still small and while they are grown is a great way to make sure your baby is eating right and possibly a good way to build a...
I already know that not sleeping or closing eyes during the day is good, having no swelling of the joints and no bone curvature, having a strong grip, holding their body up and not laying it down most of the time, having a clean mouth free of excess mucous or bubbles, not grabbing their face or...
Already went and got one from lowes mario. Its about 2 1/2 feet. I don't think I will ever be able to find sparky in her cage. But on the plus side in about a week ill be a pro at where's waldo :D
