I am using RO water since I installed the new nozzles. I also changed the water filter at that time. I notice white (calcium, lime???) deposits around the head also. I'm not sure why I am getting any deposits at all, as I am using purified, filtered RO water?

Update: Picked up package today. Minimal losses, these are some tough little buggers. Bearded dragon devoured them and looked for more. Gonzo, my Panther ate 8 from my fingers and stopped. My veiled has shown no interest in his cup as of yet. In the future, I will be placing my order on Monday...
