having hard time deciding which colour would look better and stand out.
I painted some part different colour, was thinking of just buying like a dark coffee colour kinda or what you guys think? :D thanks in advance
There are 5 different stains
hello, I'm near completing my enclosure and getting lights ready.
I'll be housing a wc Fischer on one side and a adult female veiled in the other, I know montane species require high humidity and lower temperature while a female basking should be around 80-84.
Would a 100W be enough of zoo...
Try turning off the light in the room he's in and maybe just me but I don't see much or any vines that are going a cross. You need to give him more options for him to hide, also looks like he's stuck on your thermometer or its just me.
Oh yeah I figured it would be to much, regular basking it is.
Thanks :D can't wait till I finish.. Feel bad for my female since she's in a 3ftx3ftx4ft custom enclosure that's heavily planted that's suppose to be for my other juvi female.
hi I'm already planning buying tropic blaze quad fixture from Todd (lightyourreptile) soon using 1 Arcadia 12%, 2 6.5k light, and grow light on it. Will be getting two of them 24" for each side, wanted to see if using a "solar bulb" that gives heat,uv, and light a bad combo with my quad fixture...
Update
Decided to just spray texture on back side and this side of enclosure will be for my wc Fischer since he needs high humidity. ( just need some touch up and another layer of texture)
Other side i used laminate for background for my adult veiled.
Next up is the drainage and touch up
Tested the potted plants drainage, drilled holes for drips to fall downwards and it works.
Here picture after test, silicone and dirt for the side. Will do back side tommorow after the side dries.
For ones that are on side planted, will drill hole on sides so it just drains to the bottom, the plants im using will mostly be pothos.
If anything I will trim foam away on the bottom of the pots to clear way or make a pathway for water to drip downwards into the bin that will be placed on...
i made a big dumb mistake and forgot drainage when I built the frame and didn't raise it up so I have room underneath the enclosure now the only thing I can think of is find a plastic bin same size as the enclosure and put a tall plant inside. After I would still small hole on bottom of bin and...
Started this project 3 days ago, today is the 4th day. ( this will be complete in 2-3 weeks )
Framing coated 3 times, used 2x2, 2x1 and ply woods. ( Divided into two enclosure )

Wanted to post this to see what you guys think...
don't have much info on my male veiled, got him couple days ago from a friend and he started getting red spots today but not yesterday.
All requirements are met, temperate, humidity and heat is correct.
He's a year old.
