Is my cham happy?

Hello all, I'm new to this website and am looking for some knowledge. My Cham, Wuttichai, has been very happy lately as it would seem. But today I feel as if he is acting a little bit weird. He only ate 2 or 3 small mealworms, and has not been to sleep yet. I changed his bulb to the night buld almost 6 hours ago. he is usually sleeping by 8 or 9pm but it is almost midnight and he still has not slept. he has also been sitting on the thermometer for the last 2 or 3 hours. he is bright green in color and not dark. he is just acting weird and I want to make sure he is ok. if anyone can help me out that would be great. I just recently sprayed his cage, so the humidity is currently at 90 percent and the temperature is around 72. thank you all. if any more information is required please let me know.

just took these pictures just now.

Try turning off the light in the room he's in and maybe just me but I don't see much or any vines that are going a cross. You need to give him more options for him to hide, also looks like he's stuck on your thermometer or its just me.

Yes I cleaned his tank today and kind of moved stuff around, and realized how empty it is. I'm going to go to the store tomorrow and buy him some more plants and vines to fill it out a little more. And to clarify, do you think that I should help him off the thermometer?

Yes try putting your hands out first for him to climb on rather than reach in and grab him forcibly which can make him really stress out.

He wouldn't willingly use my hand as a branch. I gave him some time, and he still wouldn't come. so I reached out for him but he gets swells his belly showing that he doesn't want me to touch him. I don't want him to bite me or get upset. should I just do it anyway? I also took one of the branches and put it close to the thermomenter to try and give him something to reach. but he isn't using it.

Ok he used the branch that I set up for him. He was definitely stuck. I was starting to get worried about him. I feel so stupid that I didn't even consider that he could possibly be stuck. thank you so much for the help. he is going to hide now and hopefully get some sleep. thank you so much again!!!!!!

Make sure and turn all his lights off though. He needs complete darkness at night and he does not need any heat at night. Please fill out the "how to ask for help thread" located in the health section so we can help you further. Mealworms are not good feeder at all. He needs lots of variety and those should at least be replaced by superworms. They're not as hard on the tummy as mealworms which can cause impaction. We all want the best for your little guy as Im sure you do so help us to help you :) And welcome btw!

I figured super worms would be to much for him since he is still so young. Are they ok for any age cham? I'm going to the store today to get some more vegetation for his cage, so If they are good for him to eat then I will pick some up.

As long as you can get small superworms it should be fine.
