Babies are growing very fast..
They have been outside 24/7 from their birth. We have had all days 15-30°C here now for over a month :)
This is the first male that starts to show up some nice color.
I have been using these kind of (HID, metal halide..) lamps for years now and i would never go back to "basics". Animals are just so much more a live under HID light.. BUT you must need to know what you are doing and ALWAYS use UV meter!
Exo Terra is behind badly, what it comes to HID lights...
If you want a similar light to raptor, now you guys have an easy option -> http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/sunray_bulb.php
35w exo lamp has the same design as Raptor 35w FLOOD (maybe made in same factory..), so i guess they are almost the same..
Arcadia halides come out soon also in 35w...
Hi!
Here is some pictures of my CB namaquensis i got from Jurgen (kameleons jvo) from the last Hamm show.
They are doing fine, after some traveler stress from Belgium to Finland tho, i would have never believed that there would be a "bearded dragon" among the chameleons
Female...
Thanks!
They have always been together.

They mated during the 3th week.
All my brady females are now receptive.
I didn't mean to question hi's methods, i know they work.
I also know he lives in area where he can keep the animals outside most months of the year.. This is why i wrote what i wrote.
Everyone of us can't keep them outside all year around, or even half.
Old fashioned HQL is OK if you can keep the animals outside most of the year.
When you keep them inside most of the year, you really need better lights.
HQL lamps has a very low UVB radiation, depending on the brand - almost nonexistent.
Sylvania is the best and some of the Osrams produced...
Humidity changes 40% - 90% between night and day, always higher at night.
Only seasonal change i provide is shortening day from 14h to 10h for a 15 min per week and relatively cold days and nights (20°C - 5°C). At this point of the year, day is the lowest 10h and i start to raise it in january...
