Well, I have 2 beardies over 2 years old. I feed them mostly greens, but they get insects twice a week. I DUST the greens AND the insects. Their basking high is 99 degrees. When I make it any hottter, they don't go near the warm side of the enclosure. Everyone is going to offer you different...
what I did when my pocket parrot broke his wing was put it in its "natural" position, and tape it there. Not so it's sprawled out, but folded in. Took about 6 weeks for him to heal. Sometimes a vet is a good idea. Maybe if you even gave one a call? Hope he's doing better. Best wishes

Hello! I have a Savannah Monitor Named Leonard. He's been to the vet a lot due to an abscess that originated from his mouth. He was a rescue, and I obtained him in October. He's full grown, and weighs 8.8 lbs :| Leonard is currently on 3 antibiotics. I'm suppose to flush this abscess twice a...
2 bearded dragons :) Gloria and Grace! I've decided to get some experience under my belt before I go with another chameleon, since I have the opportunity, I thought I should take it! Gloria and Grace were rescue beardies, which makes this even COOLER! I love them. They like to cuddle, and fall...
Yeah, and the beardies are females so I'd have to deal with all the egg laying business....egg binding...I'm not up for that, I don't think. What's a cham that can be handled more frequently?
Yes. Daddy and I built an enclosure. I'm not so sure uuuugh DECISIONS! I want something that I can HOLD that won't DIE from it :P, that's the draw back to veileds. They are SO COOL THO! Idk what I'll do *sigh*
I'm bringing him back home tomorrow. It happened that a friend of a friend was talki g about a young man who lost a chameleon! I had asked for his number, phoned him, turns out Ezra's REAL name is Darwin :) When I was knocking on doors, he was one of the ones that didn't answer. Also, the lady @...
Yeah, I noticed they had a very sad looking Cham there when I went. Honestly, I feel bad for the employees they put out there. They just grab some random person who normally works in the dog food dept and say *poof* You are now a reptile expert. I'm gaining a lot of knowledge from this forum and...
Oh wow. Petsmart lady told me wax worms were good to help him gain weight. Thanks for telling me! I fed him 3 large crickets and 1 wax worm for supper tonight. He's doing awesome. Drinking everytime I mist him :) he never leaves the very top of his cage, though. Do most veileds move really slowly??
Ezra is not juvenile for sure. I fed him 5 waxworms tonight. He GOBBLED them. Then again. Lord knows how long he went without eating. Thanks for everyone's input. I Really appreciate it.
