I never intended for this to turn into an argument.
Just to clarify: I want to house a corn snake in the same room as the Chameleon. Being new to Chameleons I don't know what his reaction would be hence starting this thread. If the reply I received was unanimous that it would greatly distress...
Common sense seems to vary. There's dodolah comparing it to introducing a rabid dog, the person afterwards just taking the piss and there's you who takes the approach I talked about in post 4.
I'm still new to reptiles, I've never kept a snake before and the Chameleon is my first lizard. For...
No need to be funny. Like I said we do have a cat and it doesn't stress the Chameleon. They've even been a few inches away from each other (Chameleon still in enclosure).
I think I might show him breifly and see what his reaction is. He's perfectly fine with our house cat, I know a snake is different but I guess it's worth trying(?)
I don't think the exo flexariums look bad actually, we've got ours in the bedroom. Just not sure how long it'll last as zippers always seem to brake at some point don't they.
From my own research in to misters you get what you pay for. Expect to pay around £100 for a good one. Check out pollywog. http://shop.pollywog.co.uk/index.php?cPath=112_113 I haven't got one yet but will be investing in one.

I've got Chameleons, Nature's hidden jewels by Petr Nečas. It's not a cheap book but very informative and covers from what I can tell just about every Chameleon known to man.
The tallest plant which is 4ft cost £24.99 and was the most expensive, the other 2 were £15.99 and £6.99. The Hollybush is worth visiting even if you come away empty handed, they have a reptile section and an aquatics section at opposite ends of the store. If you go see if they've got any big...
We bought our plants from the Hollybush, it's just down the road from us ( http://www.hollybush-garden.com/ ). We got one of the staff from the reptile section to show us which plants could be used as not all of them were labelled.
My Yemen seems to only want to be hand fed. He's had 3 locusts in with him since Saturday and hadn't shown any interest. Yesterday I offered him a mealworm out of my hand which he took, in the end he had 10. Today I thought I'd try the same with the locusts, picked one out of his enclosure, put...
