right now i have rep-cal herptivite and sticky tongue miner-all (i) with d3. also, i gutload my crickets with total bites nutrition. (little green cube things)
i've been hearing different things and not sure how much i should be using of each for my male veiled.
i've been doing herp once a...
i was feeding my chameleon small crickets but i recently decided to bump him up to mediums which are about 3/4 of an inch and [what seems to be] a little over twice as big as the smalls i was feeding him before.
before the switch he ate maybe 7 smalls but as soon as i switched it he's been...
well i checked the website and it was really basic. i havent changed anything otherthan adding the miner-all and herptivite (which i've added once cuz i was informed to do that once a week) so i dunno what the cause could be. has anyone's chameleon ever start to get darker while shedding maybe?
i'm not sure how urgent this is but i was wondering is anyone has any experience with "Sticky Tongue Farms Miner-All"
i started dusting my crickets with it three days ago. earlier this morning i noticed he was kinda pale but then again his foot was starting to shed to i figured his skin was...
i'm glad yours has that black line going from his eye to the back of his veil and the bottom back of the veil being black too. i was worried that was abnormal because the black lines are starting to show up on my cham in the same areas. stress relieved :) thanks for thix
i forgot the rule on this. i've got a veiled cham about 5 or 6 months and i feed him crickets. i feed the crickets Nature Zone Total Bites for feeder insects. it says it's an "all in one diet with Spirulina Vitamins and Minerals."
do i still need to do the whole dustings with calcium and and...
i went to a reptile store the other day and a fischers chameleon was bobbing his head at me for like 10 minutes. wierd..... i've never heard of a cham doing that before, did (s)he think i was a threat or somethin and trying to scare me off or was something maybe wrong with it?
well for height stuff his cage is 3 feet off the ground and then the cage itself is 4 feet high so he's 7 feet up. i can't get much higher than that
alright cool cuz i was definately thinking so. but the other part of my question was about the brown. he brightens up when starts walking but it's just whenever he's still he's always brown unless i'm holding him
well i always thought it was kinda normal (or maybe my cham, Skrink, still getting used to the place) but i have a veiled about 5 or 6 months now and he's never really bright until i take him out of the cage. he eats and drinks and gets light and everything. He also lets me closer to him now...
