i'm not sure how urgent this is but i was wondering is anyone has any experience with "Sticky Tongue Farms Miner-All"

i started dusting my crickets with it three days ago. earlier this morning i noticed he was kinda pale but then again his foot was starting to shed to i figured his skin was lightening because the outer layer was about to come off.

then i checked about ten minutes ago and under his chin is dark and so is his tail and a little around his eye so i'm not going to dust the crickets with it anymore.

it says on the bottle that i shouldnt feed it to my cham if he goes outdoors for more than a day and mine doesnt so i figured it would be fine. surely the uv light isn't a sunlight substitute or they wouldnt recommend it for cham's right? the guy at the shop recomended it because he says that's what he uses for HIS cham so now i dont know what else to do besides stopping the cricket dusting

This is a good supplement. I have used it over the years off and on. But I always use the Miner-All O formula when I do. These people know their stuff and have provided supplements and helped hobbyists for many years.

Visit their website and contact them with any concerns you have: http://www.stickytonguefarms.com/

I also use it don't use the indoor formula when keeping them outside and dust 2 times a week and you should have no problems.

well i checked the website and it was really basic. i havent changed anything otherthan adding the miner-all and herptivite (which i've added once cuz i was informed to do that once a week) so i dunno what the cause could be. has anyone's chameleon ever start to get darker while shedding maybe?

Friend of mine uses the Mineral-All-Indoors once a week (had indoor only chameleons). He doesnt seem to have any issues. He uses RepCal phos free calcium only (no d3) 4 days a week. (He doesnt feed anything twice a week).

I doubt the darkening colour is not related to the supplement. 3 days isnt enough to cause anything adverse from that supplement, even if you used quite a bit.

I use Miner-All Indoor formula when I dust with D3. I spoke to the people who run Sticky Tongue Farms at the show today and they gave me a free can of Vit-All. I had always thought it was a vitamin dust, but apparently it is meant as a gutload  I will do more reading on it.

Yeah, Vit-All is just a gutload. Kind of pricey compared to a certain kind of "crack".

It does it's job as a gutload well though. Bugs eat it up just as fast as the other gutload.
