Ok so Corvo has had a black spot on his chin right under his bottom lip that has been there for about a week. I actually posted a thread that was pertaining to the same thing but nobody answered my question. So i was just wondering if this is a vet-worthy problem. His tongue functions normal and...
OK thus morning I fed him and tongue is functioning as normal. He even gaped at me, I got a good look on the inside and I didn't notice discoloration on the inside. And I also noticed that it was not as black today. More purple. I attached some photos for those the have a better idea. Thanks
He might have been really stressed when i moved him into his larger cage, and he did fall once onto some carpet. I hear that black spots on the chin or head just mean bruises and i also hear that they can be fungal infections. But i noticed the area turn black today. Its not big , but should i...
i have a veiled that will eat small bits of kale, carrots, apples, and oranges right out of my hand. It doesnt seem like it would do harm, but is this normal?
i remember when my baby started to get blotches like that on his back, they were never dark like that, just a pale white. When those started to show up, he would shed within the next 24 hours. Your little one might shed soon
Corvo, my male veiled of 7 months has been acting strange lately. I know that chams are strange creatures to begin with, but when i fed him larger crickets and i also started feeding him super worms. But sometimes throughout the day i will see him really puffed up, with the big chin and all, and...
Alright, so Corvo, a 6 month old veiled took a bite or of a leaf in my back yard. I took him out there to soak up some uv's and he shot at one of the leafs with his tounge. He looked as though he got a big chunk of the leaf out of his mouth. He seems fine though. His mouth hung open for a few...
I actually think it mightve been water because he was sitting under the dripper earlier today...it just looked like he was hurting himself but maybe i am just overreacting haha. I tried to get a picture but he is still pretty shy and will run away if i get too close. But his eye really looks...
I have a 2 month old veiled who I just went to go check on and he was rubbing his left eye really hard on a plastic vine in there, after he was done rubbing, some clear discharge seemed to come out and he blinked a few times and then he was fine...he probably had something in his eye i am...
i will start off the day by putting about 15 crickets in there and in like 30 mins they are gone, later in the evening i will put about 12 to 15 more in and he will do the same thing. i am sure it has something to do with the size of the crickets....most of them are about 1/8 and some are about...
Thanks for the info guys! yup, he's fine, limbs are straight and he is drinking and eating and basking as usual! I'll just make sure to move the tree so he can't escape:D
