Post a picture. Do you have a place for her to lay eggs? I would treat her the same as a panther female except maybe a larger laying bin.

It's possiable they can lay three from retained sperm. What happen to your male?

Chameleons do not need any lights at night and I've read that some chameleons do not like the color red. If the temperture in your house drops below 60 at night then you can use a ceramic bulb for heat.

It sounds like Max maybe showing signs of aging. A smaller cage or even a mesh net half way down in a larger cage works fine.
