I definitely admire that :) I don't have the confidence or knowledge to pull that off lol.
My girlfriends all about that though, can I ask how long it took?
I'm really curious about a counter/shelf to put my chameleons on (with storage underneath for my mistking resevoir).
My lady has a...
300? Really?
Yeah I thought they were in California too. I'm in NM and my shipping was 50 for my most recent purchase (I think the most expensive option was about 60), which I didn't think was strange at all considering the size/weight of an enclosure, drainage tray and substrate tray.
I...
Haha it's cool to see you update on the forums too!
Some people use facebook to stalk their exes, I use facebook to stalk your chams :p
I'm comin' after those carpets!:D
It's hard to say if they would hate each other as different species or just hate each other. :p
Mammals have been known to make special exceptions when raised with different species of mammals, but mammals are also capable of bonding with each other.
Since chameleons don't really want...

Since we moved my veiled has had a hard time getting comfortable, but I've had good experiences from what this blog taught me. :)
I haven't heard of other people having this experience, but I bought my veiled a fancy mist king system and he doesn't even like it because I accidentally got him used to droplets from the roof of his cage, and I never see him drink from leaves or anything in his enclosure except for the roof...
Me too. My veiled will eat anything leafy. The only live plants I can keep in there are air plants and succculents, other than his little salads of course :D
The succulents look kind of misplaced but he likes climbing on them so I can't imagine taking them away from him.
Thank you so much!
I actually got my last carpet from Kevin and am getting my next one from him as well :D I had seen his set up but not asked him how yet.
This is EXACTLY what I wanted to know. :D
Screen front is better for this situation on the medium wide, I'm assuming?
:o This is going to sound stupid, but... mesh screen underneath, or on top so your cham can't get to it?
Mesh screen from home depot or somewhere like that?
Thank you guys so much for responding! :)
When I say naturalistic I mean that it'll look natural, and that hopefully I would be able to add live plants to it. The added plants aren't the highest priority because obviously there are other ways to have live plants, the appearance is of more...
I like the stick method as well.
Although, I have a veiled and had to move recently and he was just not standing for it, so I ended up taking out all of the parts that could dislodge and just moving him in his enclosure.
Also, unrelated, I'm from Santa Fe! Nice to see another New Mexican...
That's so great!
I'm so excited for you! Also jealous, I want another cham.
I know it's so hard not to pop your head in his cage constantly, but once he's settled in it'd be cool if you've posted pictures!
