Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Jackson, male, maybe a few weeks-month? He's about 2.5 inches long.
Handling - Only had him three days, took him outside to be in the sun once.
Feeding - He ate 3 very small (not quite pinheads) crickets on his second day with me, I just let him settle in...
I did that exact same thing, and it seems we're not the only ones.
I considered sending her a message, but I couldn't think of how to sound helpful instead of hateful.
Perhaps someone more eloquent can help her see what she's doing.
Awwww! =^.^=
I like the ones where she has her arms out in front of her, that's the cutest.
I have a similar looking cat named Fiona, however she's developed a weight issue and isn't quite as agile as Marvel anymore. :P
I'm glad Zelda didn't have to be in pain any longer than necessary - you're very brave to do what's right and let her go. I bet she's showing her thanks by bringing these babies to you. :)
I'm VERY curious to hear the rest of the fate story, if you're ever up for telling it.
This might mean nothing whatsoever, but my guy hates metal tongs. When I first got him to hand feed, it had to be with chop sticks.
I don't know why but metal freaks him right out. Maybe it's the reflective quality?
I don't know if you mind holding crickets/worms but it might be easier...
Cool :) I have a schefflera inside my guys cage. I was hoping to get him something different for outside, but maybe not. Everyone likes them and they're so easy to care for so why not, right?
Psychobunny's blog helped me a lot with my little dude.
Also, trickery.
I let him explore around outside his cage, but set up some sticks so he would be tempted to climb higher. Once he was on the stick, I could lift the stick and take it outside. (gotcha!)
After about 15 minutes in the sun...
