If there were new CITES species quotas?

Brookesia vadoni is very cool looking, their green heads are quite spectacular. I wouldn't have thought about B. minima climbing the hard-water buildup, that really puts into perspective how small they are.

    Trioceros johnstoni bwindi

On a different note, I found an article about T. johnstoni, that I figured I'd post the link to. I just always copy and paste into google translator, works decent enough. http://www.agchamaeleons.de/download-files/Chamaeleo_27.pdf edit: Not sure if the 'copy' function works on that article.

    Avoiding root rot in Schefflera

To gauge how wet the soil is, I recommend lifting the pot the same way every time at varying intervals of watering. It is a less scientific way of gauging how much water is in the pot. If you buy bagged potting soil it normally is somewhat moist when you open it. So pot the plant and lift...

    Avoiding root rot in Schefflera

Vermiculite will retain moisture. Perlite helps drainage, this is even more true if you get a hold of the large perlite. Another thing that can help is putting a layer of perlite or hydroton in the bottom of the pot. Good air circulation helps with the plants general health, so try and make...

    The future of Chameleon Breeding

I clicked on his facebook page link in the "Rise of the Super breeders" article, didn't see much on chameleons. The article mentions F3 getting ready to hatch, and that article is from a while ago.

    Critters in the cage

Springtails are really common to find in potting soil. This is more true with ones containing much peat. I haven't noticed a bunch in bagged coco fiber, but most the soil mixes seem to have them.

I am a little perplexed how you would have room for all the babies if you don't have room for one more female?

    Late Hatchling

I noticed in your previous posts you talk about WC parents from Florida and your eggs were from them. So is it safe to assume these eggs were from one of the WC specimens from Florida? Hope this thread grows! Very interesting...
