As many of you may know, I am an avid filed herper from South Africa, the last few years my main objective has been to find and photograph Bradypodion across South Africa.
Currently, there are 17 described species in South Africa (with only two species not being endemic to the region)

Thanks man, they're a species I've found countless times but whenever I'm in the area I can't let an opportunity to get new images. Always shoot the animals insitu.
Cool thing is finding them at night and going back to the tree/shrub in the early morning to get images before they move off.
Another weekend out scratching around produced 15 or so of these.
Setaro's Dwarf Chameleon are only found in a small stretch of coastal bush along the Indian Ocean Costal Belt in South Africa and just into Mozambique.
They're prolific in certain area's and totally absent in others.

Bradypodion...

Thought I'd share these, over the last week I travelled to a small town in Mpumalanga, South Africa to photograph Bradypodion transvaalense insitu. You'll notice they differ from the majority of the
transvaalense that many of you have seen or keep.

One of the Bradypodion I've been missing off my list for a long time, strangely enough only a 2 and a half hour drive from my house! Thankfully managed to kick this one off eventually.
Thanks to Chris Anderson for the invaluable insight in terms of habitat which greatly assisted in finding...

It began on the 6th December 2015 I set off from Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal on a 11 day 1475km/987mile road trip focusing on reptiles and amphibians with specific Bradypodion targets in mind.
I photographed 37...
