Hi all. I haven't been here a while and just wanted to meet back up with y'all. How are all of your chammies? I also have a quick pic I took of one of my Leos too. (y):D
Usually what I do is open the cage door and wait for my cham to venture out. He then let's me pick him up. He's probably just cage territorial. Once he's out, he may loosen up a bit.
It's funny how a thread will go from something chameleon related to something completely diffrent..:cautious:. I too hope no one gets banned, don't want to loose any members...
Just got a new member to my family! This little dude is real shy and does not have any names yet! Any suggestions will help :D Just thought I'd share this with y'all (y)
I got things like these too... they made hundreds of maggots...:cautious: Make sure you don't have too many dead crickets or too much food and that may help. But what I did is I taped paper towel over the air holes in my encloser and that helped alot.Just keep an eye on it and keep us updated...
I think it he should be OK. My veild is housed by 2 geckos and he does fine. I would still keep an eye out and maybe put a non transparent wall in between the two if there's any trouble. Also I've seen this website before, you should try it out (y)...
Hello all!
My male veild has real long nails and I have no idea how to keep them a bit short. I have multiple diffrent branches, small big, rough , smooth it hurts whenever I handle him... Any suggestions?
Yes actually I added another branch and another live plant. Which I know he likes because when I finished he explored for a few minutes and is happy he has many new hiding spots. But even before, he still was dark.
My male veild hasent really been acting normal... for a few months now he will just stay a dark color (s) and will stay in one place most of the day. He eats and drinks just fine. Also sleeps for a good amount of time every night. Is there anything wrong? Thanks.
Also in that pic he was happy to...
