I'm not expert but his/her neck looks swollen which could be a sign edema. Even though the closest vet is 2 hours away it's worth the drive. A blood test is in order I believe.
Thank you. It doesn't hurt as much as it just startles you, but I have seen them draw blood. I just use an ug glove to get her out when needed. Once she's out of her cage she settles down quickly.
Just use a stick of some sort and kinda get him to crawl on it in then pull him out... works every time for me.. Or in some cases, i'll use oven mittens like the og gloves lol
Keep using gut loaded crickets, then maybe some dubia roaches. Mealworms, butters and wax are garbage :).... feed him then walk away, he maybe gun shy....
