Yep, they lay infertile eggs, wich means they cant hatch, but she still needs to lay them.

See, when they are in the petstore, they are about 3 months old, very young, and dont care about cage mates, but when they get older, they will fight till the death.

So the red heat bulb is your source of heat? Trash that bulb, you dont need it, get a 60 or 75W Daylight bulb, if it gets below 65 at night, get a ceramic heat emmiter.

The temp should be about 85. Are you using the red bulb at night? There should be no lights on at night. And your using a UVB bulb too right?

If you add more plants near the top, he will probably hang out up there too. It could also just be too hot.

Id guess hes staying at the bottom because there is more foliage down there, wich means he can hide himself and feel safer.

You need to be dusting with calcium without D3 every feeding, dust with D3 once every 2 weeks and dust with vitamins once every 2 weeks. He will be getting enough calcium if he eats them.

Just wondering, why even put paper towels? You dont need anything in there. Also, dont listen to anything the petco/petsmart employees tell you, they are just trying to sell you stuff you dont need. And you cant really overfeed a baby cham, feed them as much as they will eat a day.

Yea, the reviews on them are horrible, the pictures are of all dead crickets.. I think ill stick to paying $60 for 1 day shipping with a heat pack from Premium Crickets.
