4 months is pretty young....but its possible. My rule of thumb with females is to always allow them easy access to a laying bin just in case, and check to see if its been disturbed daily.
Yeah, it's possible that he could've dislocated something while eating a cricket that was too large. I've had stuff pop out of place before.....it should go right back to normal soon. Make sure the vet takes a good look at it tomorrow though.
Do you have any pictures? If you don't, them don't disturb him to get some because he doesn't need any added stress right now. A broken jaw is possibility......or a dislocation. Has he had any falls that you know of, or tried to eat something that was wider than the size of his head?
I've had a lot of Veileds. When they are young, they will shed frequently as they are growing. I feed my babies as much as they can eat, so they tend to grow pretty quickly which causes them to shed too. Most likely, she didn't shed over a few hours usually it takes a day or two before it's all...
Sounds like there's some sort of swelling going on from the infection that's pushing the teeth out. You say he's going back to see the vet tomorrow, so just keep an eye on him until then and make sure he's as comfortable as possible. If he can go without eating for tonight, then I wouldn't mess...
Lol yeah I feel ya there. Females are a real pain in the butt, and the males just tend to be more appealing to the eye, and also get bigger. Females and their need to lay eggs and some fancy die.....well Im not about that life:D
Well, I'd just like to mention the the whole wording of this question seemed a little creepy....lol....but I personally love those little eyes that are always moving and the tail when they walk or do anything really.
Huh. That is one fact I was not aware of....although I suppose they probably wouldn't need their sense of smell much so it makes sense. I wonder what the world would be like if you had a lowered sense of smell?
For plants, I personally love succulents like the jade plant. I use safe soil, but cut up a piece of reptile carpet that will cover the entire top of the pot, with a hole in the middle for the plan to grow out of. Water goes through it, but not dirt or any other hazards.
