So my female marcella layed again, this time after mating with zeke, my new addition..we will see if she let out ferties (they mated about a week before she layed, so im not sure if she fertilized them or not, maybe not enough time? anyway hoping for the best)..we will see what happends!!:D...

i agree totally...it needs to dry out at some point..why not at night since we have to mist during the day anyway...

ive used the mv set ups for abount 10 years now and love them (keep in mind i use a solar meter, and use them in very large free ranges, they are also kept a certain distance away from the nearest basking point so they do over do it.. i think they work about the same as the tube lighting with...

i give my chams about 2-3 hours of no misting before bedtime..makes me feel like they are more comfortable.. and its a good point that it rains at night, and especially in madagasgar..and they survive just fine..but i feel like they thrive with more comfortable conditions..

it happens they will get your hand sometimes..you will have to force yourself to stay calm..(its like one of those old 25 cent sticky hands you could get as a kid)..if i get hit, i try to bring it closer to them, trying not to stretch the toungue..it happens..at least next time you may know what...

im still amazed at how fast he's ok with everything..he's just like one of the family (only tilly is the constantly angry one..not to me, but no one else can get close without hearing a hiss and a lunge and the fingers..she just puffs to me)..marcella is basically running in circles while zeke...
