    What's this wild beetle?(western PA)

Quick internet search led me to believe it’s a masked chafer beetle. Unsure of feeding it to chams, if you get them from an unknown source I wouldn’t

    Dehydrated ?

If he wants to drink, let him drink. As long as he isn't showing any health issues and you're just seeing him drink a lot he should be fine.

    Wearing red...

My cham walks on me no matter what I'm wearing. I don't think he really cares, he just wants out so he can look around.

    Baby veiled... not doing good

Chameleon suicide. Never heard of that one. Also, if you didn't mean to offend, why'd you go about such a rude way to tell him his current setup isn't adequate for his cham? I think that it just needs a bit of revamping, and then it'll be a-okay for Slappy.

Sleeping All Day, No Eating, Shedding

I gutload my crickets with carrots, potatoes and apples. Makes 'em more nutritious.

Sleeping All Day, No Eating, Shedding

I personally think keeping a wild caught chameleon is a bad idea. I've also heard glass enclosures are a no go for chameleons and that screen cages work much better. You shouldn't be using a humidifier as a substitute for misting. Get a Mist King or mist the enclosure yourself at least 3 times...

Got my cham a pothos for his enclosure.

Currently don't have any cash, and if I did, I'd be buying a Mist King. Lol.

Got my cham a pothos for his enclosure.

I got it from Walmart. Made sure to wash it in the shower and repot it with organic soil. Then I covered the soil with rocks. Now the humidity in his enclosure has jumped from 50% to 70%. Definitely happy. Figured this would be a good time to ask about my husbandry: am I doing a good job...

    Very nervous/scared chameleon

Sounds cute. It really depends on the chameleon but I still think you should be very slow about it. Don't rush things. Be as gradual as possible with your advances to keep him as comfortable as possible.

    Very nervous/scared chameleon

I've heard from a lot of experts on the forums that veileds seldom let their owners handle them. From personal experience, my veiled loves when I hold him and it's become a part of his daily routine, but he is still a juvenile so things most likely will change once he's reached adulthood. The...
