    Electrical fire

Glad it worked out - Just a heads up : I also live in California and was in a similar situation. We were without electricity for over four days, and a lot of food could not be saved. I got in touch with the power folks, and they gave me a three hundred dollar credit on my account for the...

Sounds like a 40 gallon breeder. Better off tossing a bearded dragon in there instead.

    How to deal with her.

This is terrible advice. People who "tame" any reptile with this method aren't taming them at all - they're basically breaking them. Doing this to a chameleon will probably kill it in the long run.

    Spider in my cricket box

Actually, recluses are more common in California than people think. When I lived in Burbank, my two hairless rats were killed by a recluse. About a day later the egg Sac in my wall furnace hatched, effectively rendering my apartment infested. Also, my cousin here in town (I live in the Fresno...

Herbert tries to eat his goldfish brother

I would be willing to bet a good chunk of change that your goldfish is stunted, not full grown. You can defend your subpar pet keeping all you want, but I assure you that the way you're keeping that fish is substandard. Read up on goldfish some time. You'll probably be surprised at how much...

Herbert tries to eat his goldfish brother

Just popped in to say that the "bowl" you keep your fish in is incredibly inadequate. As fish go, goldfish are filthy. And active. Just because it's surviving doesn't mean it's thriving.

    My new grumpy Chameleon

He needs way more climbing surfaces and cover. Half of his grumpiness probably has to do with him being so exposed in order to bask. If you need to remove him, go from under, not over. Try to coax him onto you, or If need be, just remove the branch he's on all together.
