I don't know if it's just me but his casque looks a little crooked which is a sign of mbd, I'd get some answers about that on here from some more established members about his casque...
He looks good, welcome to the forum btw. Cover your drip catcher with screen so he doesn't fall in and drown, I'm guessing that's what the water dish is at the botttom of your enclosure! Maybe add a few more horizontal branches for exploring. If you need help sexing you Cham post a pic of his...
Thanks guys, hoping the bromeliad doesn't die from over watering from the mistking I somewhat have it placed out of most of the mist so we'll see
finally finished my boys new setup, added a bromeliad for the final touch and got my mistking timings down to a T. What do you guys think? Anything else I should add/remove, suggestions?
Trust me I'm all about apearance as well that's why I used corrugated plastic and a clear shower curtain on on side. Here's a pic, pretty much can't even notice I have anything covered. And again this really does keep the humidity contained a lot longer for people like us who live in colder...
no problem, I mean if the humidity is really low right now because your waiting on your mistking, like I said I would just put a humidifier in the room near your chams cage, this will somewhat raise the humidity in the whole room in return raising humidity in your enclosure as well...along with...
I would just put a humidifier in the room until your mistking comes in, and humidity drop is normal in between mistings. It is very warm in the room that my Cham is in and I know what you mean when u say it drys out all the humidity but once you get that mistking going that should be all you...
looking to purchase feeders from Josh's frogs mainly crickets, my question is: I live in Detroit, it's about 7F degrees here today and only getting colder yay, has anyone else ordered crickets from here that survived the travel and cold or should I hold off until warmer weather? I'm guessing...
I cut a peice of 1x2 put that across the top of the frame of the top of the cage, cut a hole on each side of the pothos pot strung 50lb fishing line through to the wood on top and tied it to it so the pothos is hanging from the wood that is across the frame.
Hang the pothos and it will grow like crazy and provide a ton of coverage and humidity. You can hang it by getting a piece of wood the length of your cage set the wood on the frame on top across the back front wherever you want really and use 50lb fishing line to hang the pothos through the...
Pothos is a great choice! I have one in my setup as well. My recommendation is when you get your new cage I would also buy new lighting, uvb bulbs usually only last 6 months. Is it possible his uvb bulb now is older than 6 months? This could be an issue if so,And if his basking bulb now is over...
