I'd leave him be. He's hiding from you because it's a new home, and he just needs some time and space to relax and explore. (s)he will be fine. I'd avoid handling him/her for the moment...
This is hilarious! I love it! I don't have a picture, but basically every morning right before he gets fed (which is at like, 7:15) He puffs up and gapes at me. It's like his version of stretching. Every morning, without fail. Then, as soon as I put his food in, he's good and ready to eat. It's...
Well, when you're balancing crazy schedules and small income, 1 chameleon is all my finances can handle. I have a small paper route job that my chameleon eats right up, through crickets. Gotta love them tho. Working on convincing my parents to let me get another cham, since I'm working on...

Sadly enough, A. Working on B tho. Just need parental permission. They have a thing against breeding and keeping bugs. They literally told me the other day "We agreed to let you get a chameleon, not keep bugs." Oxymoron much?
It can take years to get a good spider plant going tho..... I recieved a small sproutlet Spider plant from my gardener grandma and it is still surprisingly little.
Pothos is great. It's really hard to kill. Umbrella plants are also good. Fiscus are good too, but they need a lot of drainage from what I've heard. Scheflerra is a good one.
I have a ridiculous amount of pothos.
They grow everywhere, if you need a filler plant.
When was the last time she was out? if it was a while ago she might have just passed it through her system with no bad side effects. That's what I'm praying for.
