    New Cham Owner! Need Advice

I'd leave him be. He's hiding from you because it's a new home, and he just needs some time and space to relax and explore. (s)he will be fine. I'd avoid handling him/her for the moment...

    My chameleon laying eggs????

Not necessarily a sandbox, but a laying bin (that's what it's called) usually filled with loamy soil. They like it better when it's loamy.

I wanna see pics of your chams attitude!

This is hilarious! I love it! I don't have a picture, but basically every morning right before he gets fed (which is at like, 7:15) He puffs up and gapes at me. It's like his version of stretching. Every morning, without fail. Then, as soon as I put his food in, he's good and ready to eat. It's...

Updates on Olivander the TQ Gracilior (and Co.)

Well, when you're balancing crazy schedules and small income, 1 chameleon is all my finances can handle. I have a small paper route job that my chameleon eats right up, through crickets. Gotta love them tho. Working on convincing my parents to let me get another cham, since I'm working on...

    Substrate or Not?

Hey all you guys! I have seen several threads by experts such as @Extensionofgreen that have enclosures with substrate. It looked awesome and from what I heard they had no problems. However, as a newbie I was told substrate would result in impaction and possibly death. Which one is it? I'm...

    Varied Diet?

Sadly enough, A. Working on B tho. Just need parental permission. They have a thing against breeding and keeping bugs. They literally told me the other day "We agreed to let you get a chameleon, not keep bugs." Oxymoron much?

    Calvin's new home

Pothos is great. It's really hard to kill. Umbrella plants are also good. Fiscus are good too, but they need a lot of drainage from what I've heard. Scheflerra is a good one. I have a ridiculous amount of pothos. They grow everywhere, if you need a filler plant.

    Ophelia's Day Out

Seeing as you have not started a thread about strange symptoms, she might be good. Prepare for the worst, tho. That way you're never disappointed.

When was the last time she was out? if it was a while ago she might have just passed it through her system with no bad side effects. That's what I'm praying for.
