Ok so I just got my Veiled Chameleon from flchams in the mail today. He is a 2-3 month old from the Naval bloodline. Right off the bat, he wouldn't go in the basking spot. Is he just hiding? Should I try and get him to go and bask or is he fine? Also, when should I feed him? I have baby dubia. Pics of the cage are below, he's hiding somewhere in the middle.

UPDATE: I found him. He's still pretty dark, I handled him a bit to try and put him in the right spot not too long ago (he kept wanting to go on the floor). He also took a few good falls but didn't seem too shaken and no visible injuries.

I'd leave him be. He's hiding from you because it's a new home, and he just needs some time and space to relax and explore. (s)he will be fine. I'd avoid handling him/her for the moment...

I would just let him settle into his new home and dont mess with him. He is probably just stressed from getting into a new surrounding he isnt used to. I would give him a couple days to adjust.

I've stopped handling him now, I was only trying to get him off the floor. He keeps falling because he's climbing on the screen, I hope it's because he's not used to where all the branches go yet. Nonetheless, it still worries me, because he's taken around 5 falls from about 3 feet each. He just won't stop climbing the screen.
