My chameleon a Veleid Female around 5-6 months old. She will climb and sit on her food dish when she is hungry. So I grab some crickets and as place them in her dish she will puff her neck out, swing her head around and start gasping at me. Why does she do this when I try to give her her food...

She was staying still with her eyes closed and she would walk around with her eyes closed. But I put her cage outside for 30min and now she is running all over the cage and she caught one of the crickets I have running free in the cage.
