Or atleast his first with me. He must have just started while I was at work. I gave him a good mist a little bit ago and just turned the lights out. Anything else I should do to help him? Just extra misting? Should I give him reptivite or other vitamin other than cal? More than the monthly dose...
Do you have a reptile vet? I would try to get her in sooner rather than later. I also think she would do better in a screen cage and doing what carlton said
My guys just a baby at 5 months old, he's not very big. The chameleon in your avatar is a lot bigger than him from what I can tell. Ill see if I can snag one or two roaches from work. If he doesnt eat them than i guess ill take them back or see if any other people have reptiles they want to feed...
As far as the shedding goes I'll pick up some shed ease spray. Just hope he lets me mist some over him. Or atleast he needs to sit in a mist for a bit.
It's sad becasue I want to give him other foods becasue crickets are boring after a while(I would think). I want to try roaches but I think they are to big right now for him. He's just a little guy and the roaches I've seen are as big as his head. There are so many different types of worms though.
All of my animals were eatting in the other room, it was just me and I'm just sitting in my chair on the computer/xbox and just happened to look over? Might have been something in the window than. The curtain is closed but there is still about an inch gap he might have been able to see out of...
Same with my guy. He only ate one when I put it right in front of his face on a leaf, but otherwise he just doens't bother with them.I've even put a super worm on the screen so it would climb it an he doesn't bother with it. just looks at it than looks away.
Just noticed him rubbing his head on the vine. Kinda looked like his skins a little wrinkly and dry but still has white poop and eye still full. Is this the start of a shed?
Just looked over at Argo and he was dancing on the vine showing the brightest green I've ever seen on him and had his mouth wide open. I'm guessing it's some kind of display for mating, but I have no other chameleons. Is this just something that they do on their own sometimes?
Thanks, everyone at my store is in the same mind set. Both pet stores Ive work in have been. Every now and again you get the bad apple but they usually dont last long due to the job not being as easy as mos people think. Problem is getting the good ones to stay and stop getting the bad ones to...
For me lights on at 7:45-8am. Give the cage a really good spray. Toss in some powdered crickets and watch him eat and toss in 1 or 2 on dusted crickets or attempt a meal/superworm. Re-fill auto mister, humidifier, and dripper. Get home before 7:30 to turn off lights and final spray :)
Some people just dont think of creatures other than cats and dogs as pets and companions. Its sad. I work at a pet store and when i tell someone that they cant put a gold fish in a tiny bowl and i will not sell them the fish they always get mad at me and storm out or want a manager.
We've had...
