You're doing a great job of loving this Cham back to health. I suggest Pedialyte mixed with baby-food (meat) and yes they eat birds in the wild, so go for it!

We like using large plastic totes. We insert wire mesh in the sides and top for good ventilation. (Wire only for obvious reasons...they'll munch mesh screening).
I like to use the aquariums for pinners we've started because I can see their progress and they don't require all that much...
I have to add to what you've said. I know very successful breeders, meaning: they have healthy live chams, and have for years. They all say the same thing, "If people on the forum really knew what I do with my Chams, they'd have a field day with me."

Most of us wouldn't have given or sold a Cham this young to a new home. When they're this young, they need more time to develop and be examined for possible health problems. Given the facts of what you did provide, you are a truly good Cham owner.

Actually, I'm not sure if it's this book or one of the others we have that states that often a chameleon will eat as much as what is offered and once the body has used what it needs, the excrement will then contain undigested parts. Sort of like the cham eats for the joy of eating and the body...
