I agree. If your guy is obviously not doing well you should take him to the vet. At the very least take a fecal sample to be tested and make sure he doesn't have any parasites.
I did manage to get it open. I've already put it back together. It looked like there might be burnt circuits on the back of the board. I will however disassemble it again and check the float. Thanks
Unfortunately I did buy the same brand. I needed to replace it right away and after checking at a couple of local stores it was all they carried. I will try calling zoomed to see if they will replace it. If not I will defenitly buy a better brand. Still if anyone els has suggestions on how to...
So I bought a zoomed repterrian mister when I got Cham about 6 months ago. I had it set to spray ever hour for 15 sec. I turned it off every night. Anyway it stopped working last week. All I used was purified water and it was half full when it stopped working. So I know it wasn't from running...
So sorry to hear of your loss. I have read many of your posts and questions. I know just like the rest of us you were always trying to do what's right for her. I know when your ready a little Cham will have a good home.
I was recently told bleach will not kill Coccidia. There is a cleaner specially designed to kill Coccidia. You can purchase it off of bearded dragon .com
You should gut load, your feeders don't have all the nutrients he needs. I also own a veiled and he does not want me touching him either. My guys already about a year old. I ve only had him about six months. I'm hoping he'll come around. Im taking it slow with him but he is also aggressive. He...
My guy gets one super or one butter hand feed in the am. Then I release about 8-12 crickets in his cage. He eats is worm then instantly gosr on the hunt. So far no problems. Howevere my guy will zap at anything that barely twitches.

Hey Hanson just got your pm. I'm sorry but I'm fairly new to this game myself. I also own a veiled not a jacksons so I don't know their specific needs. If there is something u need that I can help u with I certainly will. I was just referred to a vet who is a well respected member of the forum...
Hey guys thanks for respondin. I really appreciate it. Carl I do clean my cage weekly. I take everything out completely break it down and clea every thing with scolding hot water. Is the hot water enough or should I buy a reptile safe cleaner? Tha vet said he could see small amounts of isospora...
One thing wrong for sure is not gut loading. Feeders don't carry all the essential nutrients your Cham needs. Gut loading is a must! As far as dusting she should get calcium w/o d3 every feed, calcium with d3 twice a month and a multi vit. Without d3 twice a month. As far as you temp enclosure...
Thank you for the response Carl. The vet told me he was very healthy and that he wouldn't worry unless I saw a change in appetite or weight. I just don't like the sound of any parasite in my animals. I think I will have him order me ponazuril. I do plan on doing fecals every 6 months. Do you...
I did google isospora. It all sounds pretty bad to me. So why would the vet tell me it's nothing to worry about? I did read that they can live under control in the animals immune system. He told me there was very little that he could see. I'm sure the vet knows more than I do but I still don't...
