finding a male veiled chameleon for mating

Her previous conditions will likely hinder her ability to produce healthy, viable eggs. I would not breed a veiled that has suffered with mbd at all. But before you consider breeding, have you considered the time and costs that pertain to raising a clutch of chameleons? It takes money, but most...

(Just Mated) Gravid Kinyongia tenuis (Usambara Soft-horned Chameleon)

Ryan, What a fascinating species! That females rostral horn is awesome, and those blue spots just seem to glow. I am sure pictures dont even do them justice, they never do. They are so tiny. I would imagine those females only lay a few eggs, but what are the clutch sizes for those on average...

Perfect, just in time for the...... weekend, and DOH! I didn't have FF cultures, so off I run to Petco to buy the lot of small ff vials to hold me over...

    Bruise or?

Sandra, It looks like a bruise, but because of its sudden appearance in that area I am thinking it might be something else. Does this cham have a history of dehydration to your knowledge? I have seen spot "bruising" similar to this in an animal that seemed to die from kidney failure from extreme...

Just did something sad. Warning, graphic photo

I second Kinyona Mini mag lights with the light focused broadly (so your not blasting each egg with a direct beam of light) is enough to get the eggs to "glow" to see the eggs progression.
